Through group therapy, an alcohol treatment center will guide you to review all the experiences you have had in the past those that relate to your drinking and the problems you have incurred. You then learn to be ashamed of them. Finally, you learn to pick up the pieces and move on. Because of the stringent conditions in rehab, youd probably come across a few guys who would prefer to fight their drinking problems on their own. This would be commendable, except that most of them fail at it. The thing is that you need the help and guidance of a second or third party.
